2023 Popcorn Fundraiser

Pack Sales Goal $17,500

  • Online Sales begin August 2023 thru November 10, 2023
  • Storefront and Wagon sales begin Sept. 16th thru November 10th

After November 10th, you may keep on selling anything we have left, but those sales will NOT count towards prizes


  • Popcorn sales help Scouts develop lifelong skills
  • Learn: The value of hard work, salesmanship, people skills, money management, setting and achieving goals
  • Support the Pack: Help pay for activities like Pinewood Derby, Blue and Gold, and camp outs.  Pay for equipment, supplies and advancement awards.
  • Earn prizes & rewards


  • Online Direct (NOW) – Setup an online account and sell to your friends & family.  Especially those out of the local area. Ask your parents to help share your goals on social media and by e-mail. Provide people with a link to your online account (if you personalize it with your sales goals, they will learn about your goals).  Every Scout account has a SCOUT CODE number that identifies you specifically and sales with it count towards you.
  • Wagon Sales – Product will be available beginning September 16th to sell directly to your friends, neighbors, and family. Use of an actual wagon is NOT required, just bring the products with you.
  • Storefront Sales Sign up here.  Scouts should do at least 2 dates. Schedule with a buddy. These locations have been pre-approved and each has graciously agreed to allow us to sell out front.  Everyone should be respectful of the businesses and their customers.  Wear your Class A uniform.
  • Trail’s End App – Make sure you have it loaded to a phone before you go out and sell. Review the Trail’s End App Quick Start Guide for help getting setup. Credit Card readers will be provided to each Den to share, though card numbers can be entered manually.  We can accept credit cards and cash ONLY. Credit card sales will earn you 1.25 points for each dollar of a sale entered. Cash should be entered into the system by a parent after the sale.

Sign-up for Storefront opportunities

  • Login to your Trails End account and pick dates and times (2-hour shift) that fits your schedule
  • Scouts should do at least 2 dates.  Schedule with a buddy.
  • Shifts available 
    • September 16th to October 29th
    • Fridays 4 pm to 8 pm, Saturdays 10 am to 8 pm, Sundays 10 am to 8 pm
  • Locations this year include: Lowe’s RSM, Albertson’s on Alicia Pkwy and Olympiad, Board & Brew RSM, Ralph’s on Santa Margarita Pkwy in RSM
  • Contact the Pack Popcorn Kernel if you don’t see a shift that you would like to schedule. 


All Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos and AOL Scouts (& their families)

  • Setup your Trails End account and set a goal for yourself.
  • Contact your Den Leader to pick up your inventory
  • Make sure you wear your Class A uniform whenever you are selling popcorn (Storefront & Wagon)
  • The Pack has set a minimum sales per family of $350 (which is achievable by doing 2 Storefronts).  However, to achieve our overall goal, the average Scout sales needs to be around $550. So DO YOUR BEST!


  • Popcorn available for Storefront and Wagon Sales
    We will have the following items to sell:
  • SEA SALT POPCORN - SNACK BOX (28 individual bags) $50
  • Online Products
    Checkout the extra items available online, like:
    • Beef Jerky
    • Honey Roasted Peanuts
    • Chocolaty Pretzels
    • Dark Chocolate Caramels

  • Donations to Heroes and Helpers
    HEROES AND HELPERS: ships popcorn products around the country, to military personnel and their families in partnership with Soldier’s Angels.  And just like regular popcorn sales, a portion of the donation funds Scouting too.

Donations should be entered into the Trail’s End and will count as a sale towards the Scouts sales total.  (For reference only, use your personal link for credit)


  • Trail’s End Sales Rewards (awards based on points)

    Scouts choose prizes by earning points towards Gift Cards. Earn at least 500 points and earn a gift card.  The gift card goes up as you sell more.
    The gift card will be e-mailed to your e-mail account after the 2023 popcorn season closes.  Rewards must be claimed by June 30 of the following year.
    Point levels breakdown -

  • Anaheim Ducks Sponsored Prizes (awards based on actual dollar amount of sales)

Earn a patch for selling one item and a patch for collection of $200 in Heroes & Helpers donations. Plus prizes for sales of $1,000 or more and get to attend a Duck’s game on January 7th to celebrate!  Check them out:

  • Pack Awards
    • Top Selling Den – A Pizza Party for the entire DEN
    • Pack Celebration for all Scouts who sell – The more you sell, the more you throw!


Remember: This also an opportunity to tell people about Cub Scouts and the things you do and learn.  If someone is interested in learning more, you can get their information and enter it into the Trail’s End app.
