About Us
Pack 727 is a traditional Cub Scout pack founded in 1998. Most of the membership lives in and around the Melinda Heights area of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. Many of our members attend Melinda Heights Elementary so you may already know some of them. Pack membership ranges from 50 to 70 boys and girls from Kindergarten through 5th grade.
We are thankful for our sponsoring organization the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6024, which helps us bring this great program to many youth. Joining the pack does not require you to have any relationship with the VFW.

About the Program
The Cub Scouting program is family-oriented and teaches the scouts practical life skills and 12 Core Values. The core values that are used to form themes through the 5 year Cub Scout program are Citizenship, Compassion, Cooperation, Courage, Faith, Health and Fitness, Honesty, Perseverance, Positive Attitude, Resourcefulness, Respect, and Responsibility. The Cub Scout program is also coordinated with sports and academic programs, so scouts can earn Scouting awards for participation in extra-curricular activities such as Little League, AYSO, Math Club, Drama and Music.
